Register your class

Thirty seconds, no student accounts. You get a six-character join code and a QR for the board. Students answer anonymously; you get a private dashboard with live results, season standings, and a CSV export.

Shown on the leaderboard next to your school. Not a place for student names.
Caps answers per episode so nobody can stuff the ballot.

We store the school name, grade band, and the label above. Student answers are stored as anonymous counts per class. The dashboard link we give you is the only way to see your class's details — keep it private.

How it runs in class

  1. Watch the episode (or assign it).
  2. Put the code or QR on the board. Students open techcheck.fm/play on any device.
  3. They vote on each story, pick a story of the week, and answer a short quiz. Two to four minutes.
  4. Project your class page: it updates live and shows your class against every other class's average.
  5. Points roll into the grade-band leaderboard. Seasons reset each quarter.
